Day 5

Yay made it Monday to Friday on the veggies and fruit!!

You can see whats been happening on the 100 day challenge in chart at top.
Had a rest day today.
Went over cal target as I had a Thai with hubby, very much enjoyed it, had only enough to satisfy the taste, threw a whole dish away as I realised I didn't want/need it but the main thing being I stopped there, no out and out binge.

Have removed Yoga from my goals for now, I teach Bodybalance so do get a form of stretching, strengthening etc from that. Whilst I'm still trying to teach all my classes including Bodyattack, which is bloody hard whilst preggers (spec with my bump now!) I figured why pressure myself to add more, when BA goes I will have a bit more time and will add the Yoga goal back in.

Can't believe its August tomorrow, 14 days til scan, 22 days til my next Les mills presentation, 26 days til my birthday.

Bodyattack to teach in the morning, followed by Bodybalance, best get to bed to get my 8 hours.
Have a great weekend, Shar x

Quickety Quick Quick.....

Bed time is looming and I am loving my 8 hours sleep goal, even if I do have to get up to pee, normally somewhere between 2am and 4am.

Day 2 all good, updated goal tracking thingy above, thinking a yoga needs getting in and a full body weights session otherwise the week will be up and I'll be squeezing it all in.

Taught Bodyvive and Bodyattack today, est cal burn 600 (minimum).
Ate veggies - Celery, Salad and mushy's.
Ate fruit - Banana, Kiwi and Mandarin.

NEWSFLASH - I have a baby bump starting!!! Whats that about? don't get me wrong, I'm over the moon, I love it but a bit earlier than expected by about 3 weeks. Can only be a good sign, things are happening!! YAY - grow bubba, grow.

Have a great Wednesday everyone.

Day 1 / 100

So today was day 1 of 100, in the 100 day Challenge, still time to join the team if you want to.

For me personally it is a way to form some very important habits at this very important time, it will help me stay accountable as Katie has made it a team building event also, it will help me improve my nutrition, focus on rest and recovery, also minimise excess weight gain during pregnancy.

So my goals, as displayed in the chart above, are too -
- Eat 3 serves of different veggies a day - Yes I am shocking and avoid veg at all costs, 3 serves per day is doable for me and can only improve my nutrition.
- Eat 3 serves of different fruit per day - I love fruit but haven't been eating it alot the past few years due to comping, dieting etc. Since being pregnant I have had a real want for fruit, loving it, 3 per day wont be hard, in fact i could eat 5 easily.
- 3 litres Water - no explanation needed
- stay within my daily calorie allowance, only exceeding if i decide to use one of my 10 skinny bones
- Either teach Bodyattack or Bodyvive OR Powerwalk each day
- Introduce Yoga twice a week
- do a full Body weights session twice per week (ideally 3 but want everything I set to be achieved, if I do 1 more then bonus)
- Sleep for 8 hours (or more) per night.

Looks alot written out, but there is nothing that is major, smaller achievable goals that will add up to big success.

So far today, all good, bit more water to drink, bit more food to eat and got to get to bed on time to ensure I get my 8 hours. Will update my chart daily.

Thanks to Katie for being the organiser and helping back in Feb when I wanted to know how to get a chart thing up on my blog, although i really want to get rid of the border bit etc if anyone knows how.
Thanks to Frankie for telling me how to put a name then link it (as done in my post tonight!! very excited).

Day 1 / 100 - Specifics
Veg - carrot, red pepper, mushrooms
Fruit - Half banana, apple, kiwi fruit, mandarin
Class or Powerwalk - Powerwalk 50 minutes

Hope you all had a great day!

100 Day Challenge....... You in?

I'm soooo crap, I wanted to write blogers name and you click it and it takes you to their blog but can't figure how everyone does it! So anyway FRANKIE - http://fifidangerfield.blogspot.com/ started a week ago so shes 7 days in, KATIE - http://thin-enough.blogspot.com/ has posted today and she is in day 1 and not only that she created a '100 DAY CHALLENGE TEAM'.

What is the 100 Day Challenge
Exactly was it says, spend 100 days challenging yourself to make lifestyle changes, exercise changes, nutrition changes etc...... you choose, what do you need, what do you want from life, doesn't have to be about weight, mine personally isn't, obviously can't lose weight whilst preggers but can make great choices surrounding exercise, nutrition and recovery, maybe you just want to to 'feel well', live a less stressful lifestyle, it can be anything.

Katie has appointed herself the chairperson and is putting some great things in place to help with support, accountability and making it a team thing.
So if this is something you fancy, head over to Katies blog and leave her a comment, its not to late to get involved, I'm still trying to narrow down my goals, so will kick in with Day 1 tomorrow (Monday).

It is difficult to see the picture when you are inside of the frame.”

Start building the awareness habit:
STOP and PAY ATTENTION.
Set an intention to become aware of how you automatically react to different things in your life.
For example -
How do you react to the alarm clock, the shower, traffic, work colleagues?
How do you react to your partner or children?
How do you react to anger or fear in someone else?
How do you react to your own anger or fear?

Become a witness to your own life. Pay attention to how you do things.

“What is necessary to change a person is to change his
awareness of himself.”

9 Weeks

Wow, a holiday and a scan later and I'm at 9 weeks!!

Had a nice time away from work whilst we were down south, the kids, especially little lady had a ball and was a bundle of hyperactivity all week!!

My sicknees seems to be undercontrol thanks to the natural tablets the doc recommended. I have to take 3 per day all evenly spaced and if I miss one I get a little green around the gills.

WE HAD OUR FIRST SCAN TODAY!!! by first date given I was 8 weeks 3 days but the scan has dated me at 9 weeks so a little further on, which is what I thought, I'm sure I knew the day I concieved and it appears I was right :)
The heart could be seen flickering, the legs were kicking, we heard the heartrate which little lady absolutely loved! (and brought a tear to my eye)

I start back to teaching tomorrow, kicking it off with BODYATTACK!!! wowsers, thats gonna be a tough one, I'll probably need to sleep all afternoon :)

Anyways, have a great weekend
